When you put lotions or creams on your skin, they can have a hard time reaching the level they need to, to function and do their job. This outermost layer (the stratum corneum) layer is home to many minor skin imperfections like fine lines, large pores and blemishes. Microdermabrasion refines and re-texturizes the surface of the skin using diamond tips, giving the skin an overall fresh, healthy-looking glow. Normal activities can be resumed immediately after and there are virtually no side effects other than a slight pinkness on the area treated.
